What it's for
What it does
A play is one thing worth doing right now: who to message, what to set up, what to promote. We rank them for you so you know where to start.
Ways to use it
- Set up a Contact Card.
- Welcome new contacts.
- Promote an upcoming event.
- Grow your list with a keyword.
Work through your plays
Read the page
Plays are grouped into DO THIS FIRST, a section for an upcoming event, and ANYTIME. Each card has a title, a supporting stat, a tag, a main action and sometimes secondary links.

Accept a play
Select the main action, such as Get Set Up or Draft Campaign. A message play opens the composer already filled in. Nothing sends until you review it and send.
Quick Text lists these plays under From your Playbook. A play is a suggestion, so you decide whether to act on it.
Test two versions
Some plays offer Test two versions. It opens the Experiments wizard.
Mark a play not useful
The three-dot menu lets you mark a play not useful.
